携帯電話をiPhone（アイフォーン）にして３カ月が経ちました。
iPhoneは初代のころから欲しかったのですが、初代iPhoneを店頭に並んで買った人に私の携帯電話の使い方＆ビジネス＆ライフをお伝えすると「山本さんはもう少し待ったほうがいいよ～」とアドバイスをもらい、現行のiPhoneになるまで待っていました。
これまで３ケ月使った感想としては、『iPhoneにして正解◎』。
色々な不都合な点（携帯の電波状況＝softbankに由来？そもそもsoftbankなので・・、電源の消費が激しいなど）はあっさり割り切れるほど使い勝手がよく、満足しています。不都合なところも細かいところは結構あるのですが、それは豊富なiPhoneアプリケーションやiPhoneユーザー同士の情報交換によって（変な絆があり）解消、もしくは、やり過ごせています。
一番の◎な点は、iPhone＋『Twitter』の組み合わせにより、これまで公私でお付き合いのある方とはより深く色々な角度で、まったく知らない方から情報いただけたり、実際にお会いしてお知り合いになれたことですかね。

Twitterは、ずいぶんと前からアカウントの登録だけはしていたのですが、実際に使おうと思ったのはiPhoneを買ってからです。iPhoneを画面を含めた操作性の高さと場所を問わずアクセスや閲覧、書き込みなどができることを体感してからは手放せなくなっています。
10年以上前からサイトの運営に携わっていたのですが、最近のSNSサービス(mixi）やブログというものとは自身が縁遠かったことを考えると、Twitterは実際に使ってみて素直に楽しいので使っている状況と言えます。自分が使っていて楽しいので人に聞かれても人によってはおすすめもしたりと。
Twitterをはじめてからの変化などは以下のとおりです。
・旧知の方の色々な一面を見ることができた。
（普段は垣間見れない素の話題をTwitterでつぶやいている方も多い）
・Twitterがなければ知り合えなかったであろう方との出会い。
（２名の方と実際にお会いしました）
・読書量が増えた、またその話題で色々な方とやりとりができた。
（レビューや本を紹介されると読みたくなる+Amazon送料無料キャンペーンも影響^^;）
・Twitter自体が話題になり、使い方のレクチャーなどをしているとクライアントのことがより深くわかる
Twitterでその人のつぶやきを見て興味がある場合には、webサイトやブログに飛ぶ、Twitterのダイレクトメール機能や従来のeメールなどで連絡を取り合う、有益な情報を提供してくれた方のおすすめ商品を購入する、商品の使用感などをTwitterに流す、ご紹介いただいた方に実際にお会いする。
まだまだ黎明期のTwitterですので、これからのユーザーの広がりによっては今の印象もさらに良くも場合によっても悪くもなる、とは思います。
ただ、今まで使っていて短い時間ではありますが、「嫌な思いをしたことがない」、これはちょっと驚きでもあります。ユーザー層や現在私がかかわっているユーザーの数が２００強と少ないこともあると思いますが。
これからも当分はiPhoneとTwitterのコンビは使っていくと思います。
