名古屋人にとってのキング・オブ・百貨店「松坂屋」のナゴヤエキ店（1974年開店）が、この8月29日で閉店しました。
ナゴヤエキ店の閉店は、入居している名古屋ターミナルビル（JR東海所有）の建替えに際し、再出店時の売場面積などの条件が折りあわなかったことが主な理由のようです。（名古屋ターミナルビルは、今年9月末から解体工事を着手予定）
これで愛知県内の松坂屋直営店は、名古屋栄店と豊田店（旧そごう）の２店舗になりました。
当社のクライアント企業の経営者様の中には、松坂屋をひいきにし、外商部からVIP並みの待遇を受けておられた方がいらっしゃいますが、さぞかし寂しいことでしょう（余計なお世話ですね）
さて、長寿企業と言われる会社が、日本に約3,000社（創業200年以上）も存在することをご存知でしょうか。
また、世界全体の長寿企業の約４０％を占めているそうです。
長寿企業と言えば、大阪の金剛組が有名です。578年創業、1400年以上の歴史があります。
松坂屋は、織田信長の家臣であった伊藤蘭丸祐道（すけみち）が、 1611年（慶長16年）に、清須から新しく城下町を築きつつあった名古屋に移り（清洲越え）、呉服小間物商の看板を掲げたのが松坂屋の前身ですから、創業400年ということになります。
私の出身地である岐阜には、1560年（永禄3年）に創業した鋳造メーカー（株式会社岡本）があります。戦国時代、織田信長が岐阜を治めていた頃は鋳物師として活躍し、現在では、時代の変化に合わせて、飛行機の部品、現在では半導体や治具等を製造しています。
これまで、いくつかの長寿企業に関する研究調査がされていますが、それらによると長寿企業には4つの共通点があるそうです。（『リビングカンパニー』(日経BP社)より）
第1に、環境の変化に対して敏感であること。
第2に、強い結束力があり、企業組織全体の健康状態を大切にする経営者に経営をゆだねていること。
第3に、連邦型の経営を行って現場の人々の判断を大切にしていること。
第4に、資金調達に関して保守的で質素倹約を旨としていること。
第4の資金調達に関して、他の研究調査では、「非上場企業であること」が長寿企業の共通点とされています。
財務政策は保守的で、資金の調達よりも運用を重視する長寿企業が多いようです（効果を考えながら、限られた資金を大切に使うこと）上場による資金調達は、投資や事業拡大の失敗・損失を招きやすいということでしょうか。
さて、企業の寿命は一般的に４０～５０年と言われ、新卒入社から定年退職までの勤続年数（40年弱）を考えると、多くの人にとっては定年退職を迎える前に会社が無くなる計算になります。
会社を存続させ、次代に引き継いでいくために、上記の長寿企業の4つの共通点に照らし、今からやらなければならないことがあるような気がします。

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune.
