NO.52:「コミュニケーション」

私の卒業した中学校の同窓会が、８月１６日に行なわれます。

約２５年ぶりの同窓会でワクワクしています。

実は、私が中学校（蒲郡中学校）の生徒会長をしていたので、同窓会の代表幹事をしています。

代表幹事といっても、やっていることは地道な作業。

名簿を作成し、出欠を確認することです。

２５年も経ちますと、名簿作成が本当に大変でした。

８クラス全員で３２０人の学年でしたが、最終的には次のような出欠結果でした。

○ 住所が探せた同級生：２５４人

○ 参加者同級生：９７人

○ 参加者先生：２人

○ 不参加：１５７人（うち、ハガキが返ってこない６０人）

この結果をどう見るか？

私の目標は、１００人。目標というより、正確には予想ということです。

ほぼ予想に近い結果になりましたが、住所が分からずハガキが出せなかった同級生には、

大変申し訳ない気がしています。

本当は、３２０人の半分、１６０人は参加させたかったです。

分かっている不参加の主な理由には、次のようなものがありました。

● お盆で、家族旅行にいくのでいけない。

● お墓参りなど忙しい。

● 遠方にいる同級生は、ほとんど帰る予定がない

● 今回の大不況で、会費（8,000円）が出せない（これは、意外とありました）

＊このような同級生は、メーカーに勤めている人が多く、残業も夜勤もなくなり、

少なくとも週1日は、会社が休みと言っていました。

このような結果で、自分としては全然満足できていないのですが、

Ａ子さんからの1本の電話によって、少し心が和みました。

それは、Ａ子さんが中学校でいじめに会ったとき、助けてくれたＢ君に会って御礼を言いたいので、

Ｂ君が同窓会に参加しますか？という問い合わせでした。

さっそく、Ｂ君に連絡をとりましたが、残念ながら不参加。

Ａ子さんは、非常に残念がっていましたが、私がＢ君に伝えたことで、

２５年間心の片隅にあった願いは、成就したようです。

あとは、同窓会に参加希望者全員が、来てくれることを祈ります。

また、同窓会での感想を8月にお伝えします。

それでは、ブログ第５２号は、「コミュニケーション」についてです。

●「コミュニケーション」

定義）　自ら進んでメンバーとの意思疎通を図る。

●行動例でチェック）

１．メンバーに業務上で困っていること、または要望をきき、改善策を話し合っている。

２．メンバーの意見を聞いた上で、自分とメンバーの考えのギャップについて話し合っている。

３．メンバーが気軽に報告、連絡、相談ができるように声をかけている。

４．ミーティングなどを実施した後は、各メンバーの理解度を確認している。

私は、組織や会社で、一番よく聞く言葉が、この「コミュニケーション」であると思います。

なぜ、一番よく聞くのでしょうか？

それは、コミュニケーションができていないからです。

なぜ、コミュニケーションはできないのでしょうか？

それは、意思疎通ができていないからです。

なぜ、意思の疎通はできないのでしょうか？

それは、次のようなことが、現象として考えられます。

● 相手と面と向かって対話することをしなくなった。

● 携帯電話や電子メールなどで、要件を伝えるようになった。

では、どのようなことをすれば、活発なコミュニケーションの復活ができるのでしょうか？

いろいろと、できることはあると思います。

私だったら例えば、飲み会を定期的にやる、メンバーの誕生日に食事に誘うなど、

思いつけば簡単にできることは、沢山あると思います。

また、コミュニケーションは、「自ら進んでメンバーと意思疎通を図る」ということですから、

管理職や職場のリーダーは、自ら進んで部下や同僚と意思疎通をはかる言動を

して欲しいと思います。

意思疎通をはかる行動とは、相手のことをまず先に考えた言動のことです。

日本流に言えば、「対話」ということです。

皆さん、逃げずに、怖がらずに「対話」しましょう。

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
