先日、NHKのドキュメンタリー番組で、愛知県三河湾（一色町）のあさり養殖の取り組みが紹介されていました。
そして、あさり養殖というものが、企業における人材育成にとても似ており、またそこで発揮されるリーダーシップもまた企業と共通するものがあると感じました。
あさり養殖のプロセスは、漁業というよりも農業のプロセス①～④に似ています。
①土壌をつくる
②種を植える
③栽培する
④収穫する
あさりは海底に生息するため、プランクトンの死骸が堆積すると水質が悪化して酸素不足になって、あさりは死んでしまいます。したがって、海底を耕して、酸素を入れる作業が必要になります。
また、企業における人材育成とも共通するものです。
①環境を整える
②人材を採用・配置する
③育成指導する
④成果をあげる
一色町のあさり養殖におけるリーダーのこれまでの取り組みを聞きながら、彼のコンピテンシー（思考・行動特性）は何だろうか？と考えながら聞いていると、次の4点でした。
① 中長期の視点を持ち、全体の利益を優先する
今さえ良ければいい、自分さえ良ければいいというのではなく、資源保護に取り組むことで、結果、自分達だけでなく次世代の収入安定につなげる
② 不退転の決意・熱意を貫く
これまで、他の漁師から反発があったり、衝突することもあったようですが、信念を持ってやりぬいています。
③ 自ら苦労を買って出る（率先垂範）
漁獲量を維持するために、あさりが育たない漁場を耕しつづけている（他の漁師は誰もやりたがらない）
④ しくみ・ルールをつくり、徹底させる
あさりを乱獲しないように漁の時間を決めたり、カゴの目合い（網の目の大きさ）を統一して、小さなあさりが獲れないようにする
どのような組織でも共通するリーダーシップがあるんだな～と感じました。
